Welcome to Whangarei Homestagers! Our Terms and Conditions outline the professional and confidential services we offer. By engaging in our services, you agree to the following terms:

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY: 

Confidential Service: We provide a professional and confidential service. Any photographs and testimonials will only be used with the client’s consent. If agreed, photographs taken before, during, and after sessions will only be reproduced for publicity purposes with your permission.

Contextual Mentions: You may be mentioned to others in a depersonalised and unidentifiable context (e.g., "a client in Kamo," "an artist in Riverside"). This helps provide examples of how certain situations might be addressed.

DISCLAIMER:

Advice and Encouragement: We provide advice and encouragement in the cleaning process. We accept no responsibility for actions taken by the client based on this advice.

Valuation: We are not valuers of art or other items of special value or rarity. Clients are advised to seek their own valuations.

Liability for Damage: We handle items with care but accept no responsibility for accidental damage or loss. We hold public liability insurance with an indemnity of $1 million.

LIMITS OF WORK: 

Service Scope: We do not provide cleaning or removal services. For large or heavy items, third-party assistance may be required. We can recommend removal companies and cleaning services to assist.

Unsafe Access: If access to your home is restricted or unsafe, we reserve the right to charge for lost time and expenses incurred.

 

REMOVAL OF ITEMS:

Client Discretion: Items removed from your premises for disposal or relocation must be done at your own discretion.

 

BREAKS: 

Rest Periods: Cleaning can be emotionally draining; we advise taking breaks. A 30-minute break is required for sessions lasting five or six hours.

 

INSURANCE:

Client Responsibility: Clients must have insurance coverage for all furnishings and materials during handling, moving, storage, and installation. We cannot be held responsible for inadequate insurance coverage.

 

PAYMENT TERMS: 

Deposits and Billing: A deposit is required upon booking. Hourly services are billed at $75 plus GST per hour. Payments can be made via cash or bank transfer and are due seven days after receipt of the invoice.

Late Payment Fees: Overdue accounts will incur a 2.5% PLUS GST late charge per bill, along with any collection costs, including solicitor’s fees.

 

METHOD OF PAYMENT: 

Accepted Methods: Payments can be made via check, PayPal, bank transfer, and credit cards. Credit card payments incur a 3% transaction fee. Declined payments incur a $25 fee, and we reserve the right to cease all work until alternative payment arrangements are made.

 

CANCELLATION: 

Cancellation Policy: Both Whangarei Homestagers and the client can cancel the contract due to unavoidable circumstances. If an appointment is not rescheduled within one week of cancellation, the client will be charged 50% of the amount due.

 

PRICING STRUCTURE:

Variable Pricing: Prices depend on the house size. Packages are based on homes up to 60sqm. Contact us for a detailed pricing structure.

 

SAFETY AND CONDITIONS: 

Hazardous Materials: We do not clean hazardous materials or homes with infestations. Proper AC, heat, electricity, and water are required.

Working Conditions: We work best without distractions and assume no liability for the safety of others during cleaning.

Environmental Adjustments: Our staff may adjust heat/air conditioning for comfort but will reset settings before leaving.

Lockouts: We are not responsible for costs due to lockouts. Use our free key storage service but always have an extra key.

 

SPECIAL REQUESTS: 

Prior Notification: Call ahead for special requests to ensure team availability.

 

COMMUNICATION: 

Feedback and Instructions: Leave notes or text us with feedback or specific instructions to improve our services.

 

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: 

Issue Reporting: Report concerns within 48 hours for re-cleaning. We do not offer refunds but will fix issues reported within this timeframe.

 

HOLIDAYS AND SOLICITATION:

Holiday Closures: We are closed on major holidays and will reschedule cleans accordingly. Inform us early to avoid last-minute cancellation fees due to vacations.
