These terms and conditions apply to all transactions involving the provision of goods and services ("products") by Whangarei Homestagers and Interior Design Limited ("{Whangarei Homestagers and Interior Design Limited", "we, "us") to you, the buyer of goods and services from us, and your use of the website at www.whangareihomestagers.co.nz ("the website").
We have the privilege to modify these trade terms through a formal notice to you. This notice can be provided by replacing the existing terms and conditions on our website.
Buying items from our e-store is only allowed for individuals who intend to use or consume the products or services themselves. Additionally, you are not permitted to buy items from us through our website for the purpose of replenishing your stock, whether for commercial use.
By consenting to these Terms of Service, you signify that you are either over the age of majority in the state or province where you live, or that you are over the age of majority in that state or province and have authorised us to permit any of your underage dependents to access this site.
When you visit our website or buy something from us, you participate in our "Service" and consent to be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the "Terms of Service", "Terms", as well as any supplementary terms and conditions and policies mentioned here and/or accessible through links. We've done our best to show the true colours and pictures of our items in the store. We can't promise that the colours your computer screen will show will be exactly the same.

Pricing
All costs are listed in New Zealand Dollars and include any Goods and Services Tax ("GST") by default, unless specified as different. However, delivery fees are not included in these prices. Please note that prices are accurate at the time of publication. We have the authority to change prices at any moment. We have the authority to change or stop offering the Service (or any component or aspect of it) at any time without prior notice. When you order, an invoice will be sent to you via email at the provided email address. It is your responsibility to make sure your contact information is up to date.
Delivery and shipping
The costs for products and services listed on our site do not include any delivery fees.
For large and heavy items/orders additional shipping costs may apply. If you're unsure, email info@whangareihomestagers.co.nz for a quote. Otherwise, you will be notified of any additional shipping costs when your order is processed.
Rural charges apply to rural address.
Standard shipping
Orders are handled within a single business day after they are placed. After processing, our typical delivery times range from 1-2 business days (within Auckland) or 2-3 business days (outside of Auckland). You can opt for overnight delivery for an extra fee. DEFAULT DELIVERY PRICES START AT $5. For large, heavy, or delicate items, or for international shipping, extra fees will be charged. If you're not sure, reach out to info@whangareihomestagers.co.nz for a quote. Otherwise, you'll receive an estimate via email once your order is processed. NOTE: Due to ongoing delays in courier services due to Covid-19, your order might be delayed beyond the expected timeframe.

Return policy
At Whangarei Homestagers New Zealand, our goal is to make certain that you are delighted with your purchase and satisfied with both the quality and fit. Should you find yourself not content with your purchase, please return it to us within 14 days after receiving the product/s. Products bought online can be returned using the provided returns form, which can be sent by courier or post to our main office location: Kindly send an email to info@whangareihomestagers.co.nz. We make every effort to handle returns within a five-day timeframe. For items bought at full price, we will either offer an exchange or provide store credit, as long as the product/s are in their original state, come with their original packaging, and the receipt is present. For clothing items bought online, we will either exchange or refund any item purchased at full price, as long as the item is returned in its original condition, not worn, not washed, and not altered. For items for sale, we are unable to provide exchanges or refunds for products that are defective.
Change of mind
You are not entitled to a refund if you decide you no longer want a specific item, so it's important to make an informed choice. Should the items be defective, we are required to fulfil our responsibilities as per the Consumer Guarantees Act by offering a solution.
Faulty items
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the goods you buy from us must meet certain quality standards. Should you believe that a product you've purchased is defective, please contact us for evaluation. This evaluation process may take up to five business days from the moment we receive the item. If the product is indeed defective, we will either fix it or provide a replacement, depending on the situation. If a fix or replacement isn't possible, we're more than willing to issue a full refund. We won't be held liable for any issues that arise from how you've used or maintained the product, especially if you've used it in a manner or to a degree that a typical consumer wouldn't have used it – this includes not following the care instructions. Should we discover that the issue is due to your use or care of the product, we won't cover the costs of returning the item for assessment or sending it back to you. If the product is defective and we're unable to repair it within a reasonable timeframe (after we've assessed it), you have the option to either have it repaired elsewhere, at our expense, or to return it to us for either a replacement or a refund. If you choose to return the item, you must do so within a reasonable period. You're not allowed to return the item if you've already discarded it, lost it, damaged it after receiving it, or if you've attached it to or integrated it into another item (and removing the item from the other item would cause damage). Please note that the information provided here does not change any of the rights or responsibilities outlined in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Gift exchanges
Should you be buying a present, we provide a gift swap service, allowing the recipient to swap or return the item as per the guidelines mentioned above.
Shipping your returns
Kindly send back your item using a courier service. The delivery time for your new item, depending on your location, could range from a few days to several weeks. If your item costs more than $50, it's advisable to opt for a shipping service that offers tracking or to buy insurance for your shipment. We cannot assure that we will get your returned item.

Liability limitation
Should you purchase or present yourself as acquiring products or services from us for business purposes, the rules of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 will not apply. We will make every effort to ensure our website contains complete and precise information, but we will only assume minimal responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the information found on our website, as allowed by law. We will exclude any responsibility we might have towards you for any claims, except in cases of intentional wrongdoing. This exclusion also extends to our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers, or licensors, and anyone else we engage to carry out our duties or provide services under any contract you have with us. This exclusion also applies to any claims for which you might seek compensation, regardless of the nature of the claim or how it arises. This exclusion does not restrict any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Our maximum liability to you (if any) will be capped at the value of any defective products or services we provide, and we, along with our employees, contractors, and agents, will not be held liable for any loss or damage, regardless of the cause or nature of the loss or damage. You agree to cover, defend, and protect Whangarei Homestagers and our parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees from any claims or demands, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third party due to or as a result of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
By default, this agreement encompasses all the conditions of our agreement and remains valid regardless of your current location when we provide you with any goods or services. This applies regardless of where you live. The use of our website, the provision of products or services to you, and any other issues that may arise from these terms and conditions are governed by New Zealand's laws. The New Zealand courts will have the authority to hear and decide on any claims or disputes related to these terms of agreement, the use of our website, or the provision of any services. If you or anyone on your behalf provides inaccurate information during the purchase of a product or service, and as a result, we have to spend money on any related issues, we may seek to recover these costs from you, including any legal fees (on a solicitor-client basis). You agree to use our website, products, and services in line with the laws of the countries where your business or organisation is registered.

Unless you decide to continue receiving our messages, we will not reach out to you again. Gift voucher conditions
Gift vouchers are valid for a year from the date they are issued. Any unused amounts will not be refunded or applied to any future transactions once the year is up. Gift vouchers can only be used for purchases of all items at https://www.whangareihomestagers.co.nz. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, returned for a refund, transferred to a new voucher, or replaced after the expiration date. They are not considered legal tender, and cannot be used as account cards, credit or debit cards, or as securities. If the total cost of your purchase is more than the value of the gift voucher, you must pay the remaining balance using cash, debit, or credit card. If you decide to return any items you bought with a gift voucher, the refund will be given to you as a credit note, which can be used for future purchases. Gift vouchers are irreplaceable if they are lost or stolen. Should you notice any unauthorised activity, please report it to Whangarei Homestagers via email at info@whangareihomestagers.co.nz, including proof of purchase, the gift voucher number, and a photo ID for verification. Whangarei Homestagers has the authority to revoke a gift voucher if deemed necessary. In such cases, we might offer a new gift voucher of equal value, unless there's suspicion of fraud related to the gift voucher. In that scenario, the gift voucher will still belong to Whangarei Homestagers. Whangarei Homestagers may change or modify these terms and conditions at any time, including the introduction of new fees.
